After Senator Pocock’s win in the May 2022 election, proACT came together to consider what next. Following a community meeting in October 2022 which discussed a range of options, proACT decided to nurture a similar process in a lower house seat.

With some early support, Voices of Bean become an independent organization and in May 2025 Jessie Price came very close to unseating the incumbent in the seat of Bean.

Now, after the 2025 election with Senator David Pocock re-elected with increased support, is a good time to again reflect on where proACT is at, whether any changes are needed and if so, what future directions might look like.
