Clare Doube
Clare is a human rights consultant and mediator who moved to Canberra in 2008. She works in Australia and overseas, helping communities with human rights strategy and advocacy, as well as conducting reviews and evaluations. After feeling increasingly disappointed, disillusioned and disempowered about politics, Clare and her partner Glenn founded proACT in 2021.
Clare says ‘The best thing about proACT is the amazing conversations we are having with people across Canberra and seeing how this emerging movement has hit a nerve. We can see a pathway towards a new Senator and a new way of doing politics. Together, we can do this!’
