Laurie and his partner Sue moved to Canberra from Adelaide in the mid 80s and raised their two children here. In that time they have watched Canberra develop into a dynamic, inclusive and diverse city. But like many in Canberra, Laurie’s sense of frustration and disillusionment has grown as the standards of accountability and integrity at the Federal level have dropped away.
